The University of San
Agustin is a private Catholic University in Iloilo City, Philippines. It
was established in 1904. Every year the University hosted an event which is the
University Week or U-Week. Every individual enrolled in the university may
freely join in many activities that the University has given. They can
participate in sports events, cultural and even literature and arts. This is
one way the University wants, to enhance the capacity and the ability of the
Augustinian students. The purpose also of having this event is to improve the
sportsmanship of every student and most especially by giving praise to our
saint, St. Augustine of Hippo. It is not all about sports, pageants, dancing
competition and winning it, but it is also all about mold ourselves through
emotional, mental and physical appearance.University Week 2019 celebration will
be held on February 26- March 2, 2019.
5. Laro ng Lahing Agustino: The Augustinian Race

Laro ng lahing Agustino is somehow a
traditional Filipino games where Augustinians will also experience it on February
28, Thursday. These are games wherein we experienced it already during our
childhood days. We will again cherish those games on the 28th of February.
Let's just wait and witness what games will be given to us by the facilitator
of the University Week celebration.
4. PASIKLABAND
Pasiklaband is an event wherein the
talents of Augustinians in singing and using musical instruments are being
showcased. This celebration also shows that no matter what happened,
there is Unity among Augustinians. This event will be held on February 26,
Tuesday at the University of San Agustin football ground.Let's witness and
enjoy jamming with our fellow Augustinians of the 26th of February.
3. PINTA-TAO

Pinta-tao is an event
wherein there is at someone's body who will be painted by another person.
It is to express their feelings through painting the whole body of a person.The
goal of this activity is to enhance the ability of a student in an artistic
way. It has a topic wherein you will translate it through painting. After which
they already finished painted body, they will have a glimpse in a stage to ramp
on the design that have been painted all over their body. This event will be on
March 1, Friday.
2. TGIF
It is one of the most awaited part of
the University Week celebration, the TGIF. In this event, the talents of
Augustinians in designing is being showcase.It is also about unity of each team
in order that the success of one will be the success of all by having the
prepared designed clothes and props to be used in the event.This will be held
on March 1, Friday. Be there and witness the creative designs of the
Augustinian students.
1. MR. AND MS. USA 2019

The search for Mr.and
Ms. USA is the highlight of the University Week celebration. Augustinians are
not only God-centered but also Augustinians are beautiful and handsome. It is
not all about beauty, but it is also all about brains. The way they will
deliver their answers clearly and correctly will lead them to win the pageant.
This event will mold each contestant develop their self-confidence and also
their emotional and mental feelings. This will be held on February 28, Thursday
at the University of San Agustin Gymnasium. Come and witness who will be the
next Mr. and Ms. USA 2019.
